INCREDIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL HIKING IN LORI PROVINCE
During this hike we will visit:
-Sedvu Monastery located 3 km south-west of Kachachkut village,
below the Achori-Kachachkut road, in the picturesque valley of Sedvu.
Only St. Nshan Church with adjacent chapel, auxiliary constructions, ruins of walls
and khachkars have been preserved in the complex of the monastery.
-Bgavor – 3 km north-west from the village of Aqori, on the slopes of
Lalwar Mountain. The architectural composition of the church reminds of the
monuments Akhtala and Kobayr of the XIII century in this region,
which suggests that Bgavor is of the same era.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 11 km. Participants are advised to wear sneakers,
comfortable clothing, and a protective cap, and to take food and water for the day.
