It’s time to relax, chill and enjoy nature.
This time we will go to discover the hidden corners of Vayots Dzor.
As part of the tour, we will visit Yeghegis village to see Arates Monastery of Yeghegis river.
The village of Yeghegis was once known as one of the richest communities of
medieval Armenia, where it was preserved are monuments of different historical periods.
Next, we will see Zorats temple covered with khachkars and tombstones,
which is said to have been a place for army prayers,
from where it got the name “Zorats”.
We will also plan a visit to Goghtanik waterfall, in its basin
we will have a chance to swim and have a good rest.
P.S. The total length of the walk of medium difficulty is about 4 km.
Participants are advised to have enough food and water for the day.

and swimming in an area prohibited by the guide.
