We offer the most memorable and emotional way to celebrate Vardavar.
Vardavar is one of the most beloved among traditional Armenian holidays. The holiday was dedicated to water, love, fertility and beauty
the goddess Star, whose symbol was the rose. After the adoption of Christianity, the holiday symbolized Christ
Transfiguration and pouring water on each other symbolized cleansing from sins.
On the slope of Aragats, at an altitude of about 3000 meters above sea level, there is the wonderful Gegharot waterfall. We will travel by
hovazavr Aragats village, from where we will reach Gegharot waterfall by walking about 2 km.
P.S. Participants are advised to wear hiking shoes, comfortable clothing, a protective hat, sunglasses,
have sunscreen cream, 1 day’s worth of food and water, a change of clothes, shoes.
