Arrival
Transfer from Zvartnots airport to Yerevan city center.
Overnight: Yerevan
Yerevan - Garni - Symphony of Stones - Lavash baking - Geghard - Yerevan
Tour to Garni, is the only pagan temple left in Armenia. It is a blend of Greco-Roman and Armenian styles built by King Trdat I in the first century A.D. and dedicated it to the God of Sun. We will walk to the Simphony of Stones in Garni gorge. Then will drive to Geghard Monastery (13th century) carved out of the adjacent mountain and initially called Ayrivank (the Monastery of the Cave ) is included in the World Heritage Site. Due to the fact that the famous spear, with which the Roman soldier wounded Jesus, was kept here for 500 years, the monastery was called Geghardavank (the Monastery of the Spear). On the way to Yerevan we will have a stop near Charnets Arch, from where a beautiful view to the Mount Ararat opens. Back to Yerevan.

Yerevan - Lake Sevan (Sevanavank) - Tsaghkadzor- Yerevan
Tour to Tsaghkadzor, famous ski resort in Armenia. Visit Kecharis Monastery founded in the 11th century. Drive to Lake Sevan, one of the greatest high mountainous fresh water lakes of Eurasia. It’s a fascinating collage of turquoise waves playing with wind and mountains reflected on water. Visit Sevanavank Monastery on the peninsula. Back to Yerevan.

Yerevan - Khor Virap - Yerevan
Tour to Khor Virap Monastery. The monastery is famous for its location, especially for the view of the Biblical Mount Ararat, on the top of which Noah’s ark came to rest according to legend.The notability as a monastery and pilgrimage site of the monastery is attributed to the fact that Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here for 13 years. Back to Yerevan.
