Yereruyk Temple is a unique medieval structure in Armenia. This time we have the opportunity to see the architectural features of the temple. We will also stop at the ancient reserve museum of Metsamor, which is one of the unique monuments of world culture.
During the tour, we will visit Jrapi caravanserai and St. Astvatsatsin church. The caravanserai was built on the main road leading from Georgia to the northern provinces of Armenia and Ani. Architectural solutions are especially distinguished by originality. We will have a stop in Mastara near the Church of St. Hovhannes, which is especially valuable due to its perfect interior architectural solutions. It was built by the monk Grigor in the 7th century. On the way, we will see the Akhuryan reservoir.
