Well, it’s time to return to forgotten traditions, national song and dance and festival spirit.
This time we will go to see Tatev Monastery, a jewel of the world from Syunik, which is a historical monument of the 9th century. This unique example of Armenian architecture is considered one of the ancient spiritual centers.
After seeing the Tatev Monastery, we will visit the Khot settlement, where the “Sheep Shearing Festival” will take place.
Within the framework of the festival, we will have the opportunity to participate in the sheep shearing competition, exhibition-fair,
the auction sale, the concert program, and we will get to know the process of getting “wool to carpet”.
There will be food stalls and a playground for children.
P.S. A one-way ticket for the “Tatever” cable car costs AMD 5,500, and a two-way ticket costs AMD 7,000.
