The next special tour starts, within the framework of which we will go together to discover the Blue Sevan green Tavush. At the beginning of the tour we will visit Sevanavank, which is also known as “Mariamashen”. Then we will move to Tavush province, from where we will start our hike to Matosavank located on a forested plateau. It was built in 1205 with large semi-finished stones. Sculpted khachkars are attached to both sides of the entrance. After admiring the majestic beauty of Matosavank, we will have a walk in the Old Dilijan complex.
P.S. The total length of the hike is 2 km. Participants are advised to wear sportswear, comfortable shoes, wear a protective cap, and have food and water for the day.
