Join us and celebrate with us the day of the consecration of youth, accompanied by church rites and prayers, the feast of St. Sarkis. Liturgy and folk traditions are an integral part of the holiday.
One of the oldest and most famous sanctuaries of the festival is the monastery of St. Sargis in the village of Ushi, where, according to legend, the relics of St. Sargis are buried. The upper altar and the ceiling of the church are covered with frescoes, and multi-colored stones further emphasize the artistic expressiveness of the building.
Next, we will go to see the Mariana Church with cross compositions and two-tier vaults. This church, built of brown tuff, is distinguished by its majestic position.
P.S. We will finish the day in the gastro house of Yeganyan’s, where a feast of wine, dried fruits, ghats and basil awaits you.
