This Sunday you can join this special tour designed for those who really want to experience and enjoy the scenery of Sahyan. During this tour we will visit the wonderful Shaki waterfall, will enjoy the restful sound of the water and admire the mysterious beauty of the waterfall.
Our next stop will be the Vorotnavank monastery, founded by the queen Shahandukht. Our goal is the village of Lor, the wonderful homeland of Hamo Sahyan, which, in fact, is the cradle of literate people. In the house-museum of the great writer, you can fully experience the spirit and mood of Sahyan. As a part of the trip, we will see a half- ruined school, where Axel Bakunts once taught. This tour also includes the churches of St. Hovhannes and St. Gevorg (Lori), a mineral source, known as “Spicy Water”. In Lori we will be treated to fresh village lavash and cheese.
P.S We will walk around the outskirts of the village of Lor. Participants are advised to wear trainers, comfortable clothing, a protective cap and goggles.
