Walk along the paths of Vayots Dzor, walk along the roads surrounded by mountains.
The Vayots Dzor region is a land of deep gorges, high mountains, cold springs and caves, each corner of which holds a thousand and one treasures.
We will go to the village of Vernashen, from where we will have the opportunity to reach the monastery of Spitakavor, which is surrounded by steep gorges on four sides. This monastery, renamed by the locals, was previously also called the Tsakhki Monastery, and the white felsite buildings were the reason that the monastery was called Spitakavor.
P.S. During the tour, we will cover a hike of approximately 14 km. Participants are advised to have sports shoes, comfortable clothes, protective headgear, goggles, food and water for 1 day (2-3 liters), warm clothes, change of shoes, first aid kit, raincoat and flashlight.
