During this tour we will discover the hidden corners of Vayots Dzor.
As part of the tour, we will go to the village of Shatin, from where we will walk along the beautiful paths of Vayots Dzor to Shativank.
For a long time, this famous monastery complex was not only a place of prayer and communion,
but also an important cultural and educational center, and thanks to its impregnability, it guaranteed the safety of people in times of danger for the country.
We will see many khachkars and fragments of inscriptions preserved from the 10th century.
The next stop will be the mountain goat observation deck: goats and bears can also be seen from the observation deck with the naked eye.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 10 km. Participants are advised to be in sportswear, comfortable shoes, warm clothes, protective headgear, have enough food and water for one day.
