Surrounded by rocks and valleys, fortified in the lap of nature with a strong spirit-Smbatabert, amazes many people with its impregnable position. Well, it’s time to see all the charm of the high castle with the naked eye. The fortress is the citadel of Yeghegis, still preserving ancient ruins. During the tour, we will visit the unique Zorats temple and Horbategh, where we will see the famous natural fountain.
P.S. The length of the bilateral walk is about 10 km. Participants are advised to wear comfortable sneakers (an alternate pair is preferred), warm clothing, and to have food and water for 1 day.
