As part of the mountaineering trip to Artin, the first stop will be the village of Arteni in the Aragatsotn region, where we will get acquainted with the custom of climbing Arteni on April 24. Then we will go to the chapel at the foot of Mount Arteni, visit the mausoleum, from where we will start the hike to Mount Arteni. After overcoming the height, we will dance our national dances on the top of the mountain, as usual, we will light a fire in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. We will have a stop for a break in the “Hedgehog Park” in Ujan.
P.S. The total length of the walk of medium difficulty is about 6 km. Participants are advised to wear sneakers, comfortable shoes, warm clothes, wear a protective cap, have the necessary food and water for the day.
