This Sunday we are going to the “Khosrov forest” state reserve, where the famous Vahagn and Astghik waterfalls are located. First, we will be in Azat Gorge, we will see the Symphony of Stones natural monument. Then we will continue our way by truck to Vahagn and Astghik waterfalls. We will walk part of the way. Then we will cross the Azat River by car and approach one of the most unique medieval monasteries, the Agjots Monastery. We will enjoy the unique views from the monastery, we will return to Yerevan.
P.S. Please note that we are expecting a 4 km long, medium-difficulty hike. Participants are advised to wear sneakers, comfortable shoes, warm clothes, wear a protective cap, and have the necessary food and water for the day.
