We present you a unique tour, during which we will discover the beautiful corners of the Syunyats world.
Below you can see the description of the two-day tour.
Day 1
In the morning we will go to the administrative center of Syunik: Kapan. We will visit Vahanavank, which is one of our architectural masterpieces of the 10th century. Then we will get to Halidzor Fortress. In the 18th century it was the main fortress during the liberation battle of the great Armenian general David Bek. We will end the day with a visit to Garegin Nzhdeh’s monument.
Day 2
In the morning we will go to the city of Meghri, which is famous as the “Southern Gate ” of Armenia. We will visit St. Astvatsatsin Church of Mets Tagh, then Meghri Fortress. Then we will visit St.Hovhannes Church of Pokr Tagh. It will surprise with its beautiful frescoes, and from here a view of the city with its residential houses rich in unique colors will open in front of us.
From here we will get to the beautiful waterfalls of Lichk and Zvaravank. Then, being full of unforgettable impressions, we will return to Yerevan.
