Our next place of visit this time is the wonderful Tavush region. We will start the unique walk from Tavush village, from where we will walk through the forest road to Katsaret fortress built in the 13th century. Then we will drive from Berd to Chinchin village. After the break we will walk from Chinchin village to Kaptavank, which is one of the famous monuments of medieval Armenia. Of the former monastic complex, only the church now stands. We will continue our walk from Kaptavank to Tavush reservoir. The reservoir, the construction of which was completed in 1975, is located on the Tavush River.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 15 km. Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes, to take food, water, an umbrella, a hat and warm clothes.
