Climbers, we have a new and unique destination for you.
We are going to Mount Ara with a height of 2577 meters, which is located in the border zone of Kotayk and Aragatsotnu regions. Fragmented by sediment-covered slopes and ravines, this mountain is an extinct volcano.
We will cross a part of the road with the first and only all-terrain tourist bus in Armenia – Hovazavr, which will make this hiking tour even more interesting and memorable.
P.S. During the tour, we will overcome a 0-5 km long hike. Participants are advised to wear hiking shoes, comfortable clothing, protective hat, goggles, 1 day’s worth of food and water (2-3 L), warm clothing, replacement shoes, walking sticks, medicine box, raincoat and flashlight.
