EXCLUSIVE TRIP TO WONDERFUL TAVUSH
As part of the tour, we will visit the 13th century monastery complex – Makaravank, which is distinguished by originality, richness and variety of its decorations. We will also visit the Moro Dzoro Monastery (or Moru Dzori Monastery, or Tsrvizi Monastery), located near the village of Lusahovit, which is especially distinguished by its unique architectural solutions. Then we will continue our way to Srveg Monastery.
Srveg Monastery is located about 3 km southwest of the village of Aygeovit, on a hillside, in a place called “Under the Cross”. This is one of the few brick monuments built in Armenia.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 7 km. Competitors are advised to dress comfortably, wear a protective headgear and goggles, and have warm outerwear.
