Forgotten traditions, handmade works, carpet weaving, the process of thread creation, national songs and dance and club music, competitive mood, cognitive excursion at the same time.
ONE WAY TOUR agency organizes the tour to the valley of Tatev- Khot village, where the “Sheep shearing” festival will take place.
Participants will be introduced the entire process from wool to carpet, participate in sheep shearing competition, test the teas made from unique herbs of Tatev.
The surrounding rural communities will show their handmade works – carpets, ceramics, wood carving, and wool socks and so on.
Afterwards, the tour will be continued to the Tatev Monastery- one of the Armenian architectural jewels.
The hours spent in the atmosphere of song and dance, competition and hospitality promise unforgettable impressions. Also we will visit Noravank monastery and Areni winery.
In order to see the Tatev Monastery, you may take the ropeway.
One- way ticket is 5.500 AMD.
Two- way ticket is 7.000 AMD.
