One of the most popular destinations among both local and foreign tourists is Sevan, Dilijan. This fact is not accidental at all, because within the framework of the tour you can simultaneously discover the desert and dense forest landscapes of the Armenian nature. Our first stop will be Sevanavank, to reach which we have to climb several tens of stairs starting from the peninsula. After getting acquainted with the history of the monastery complex, if you wish, you can sail in Lake Sevan, which, by the way, is one of the high-altitude lakes with fresh water in the world.
Continuing the road, we will reach the Tavush region, where we will visit the Goshavank and Haghartsin monastic complexes built in the 10th-13th centuries. Surrounded by forested mountains, these two famous monasteries will surely impress you.
