On the feast of St. Sargis, we have an exclusive opportunity to visit one of the mightiest fortresses, Koshaberd, also known as the Girl’s fortress. In the village of Kosh, we’ll see the churches of St. Stepanos and St. Karapet. During the tour, we’ll visit St. Sargis monastery in Ushi, which is one of the most beautiful and oldest monasteries in Aragatsotn province. We’ll sup um the day at the “Ashtarak Garden” guesthouse, where we’ll take part in gata making master class and will have tea and coffee in a warm and hospitable atmosphere.
The total length of the hike is about 6 km. Participants are advised to wear comfortable sports shoes (sneakers), comfortable clothes, have the necessary food and water for the day.
P.S. The entrance fee of the “Ashtarak Garden” guest house – 1000 AMD, isn’t included in the price.
