SPECIAL HIKING TOUR TO VAYOTS DZOR PROVINCE
On the 16th of June, on Sunday we will leave for the finniest places of Armenia located in Herher village in Vayots Dzor region.
During the tour you will get acquainted with numerous interesting historical and natural monuments. We will also spend a good time in nature.
At first we will visit Herher reservoir built on the same river which is a beautiful pool stored in mountains.Then we will be in Herher village where a number of monuments are preserved.
From village we will start our tour to St. Sion church that is one of the medieval deserts located at the top of a small cliff divided by two canyons.
After the rest we will continue our tour to having unique beauty Herher waterfalls. During the tour we will visit located not far from Herher village the St. Gevorg chapel which locals name Chiki monastery. At the end of our tour we are expected to visit another natural monument as mineral springs near Arinj ruined settlement.
Two way hiking part is about 15.km.
