What is Ecotourism?
Ecotourism is a tourism organized to explore the nature, its individual components and the historical and cultural monuments.
What is the purpose?
The aim of the ecotourism festival is to promote eco-tourism development in villages Martiros and Gomq of Vayots Dzor province and raise public awareness of eco-tourism.
During the Festival many exciting opportunities await you, including:
1.Attending the official opening of Ecotourism Festival full of local food, trade, and exhibitions of ecotourism services; 2. Participating in the “Regional Cycling Cup” contest; 3. Amateur rock climbing competition and training; 4. Hiking and Horse riding trough beautiful nature trails; 5. The new founding of eco camp, with musical performances; 6. A photo exhibition dedicated to the flora and fauna of the Red Book; 7.
