On 24 April Tour Operator ONE WAY TOUR will hike to the mountain Arteni (2047 m.). We will get acquainted with a number of remarkable monuments as well.
At first, we will be in Talin city where we will see the ruined temple Katoghike and the small church St. Astvatsatsin.
Then we will go to the Areg village that was renamed Tatul as it was the birthplace of our national hero Tatul. We will visit the cemetery of the hero from where we will start our hiking to the mountain Arteni.
Arteni Mountain that is a separate volcanic cone is located in the southern-western foothills of Aragats and wonderful views open from the top.
Before coming back we will visit the Dastadem village where we will see a unique medieval castle. It was one of the most outstanding defensive structures in late Medieval Armenia and has reached us almost unscathed.
