About this tour
Join our autumn hike along the colorful trails of Tavush!
As part of this tour, we will visit Goshavank Monastery. After learning the historical background of Goshavank and visiting the tomb of Mkhitar Gosh, we will continue by off-road vehicles to Gosh Lake. The lake was named after the Armenian writer and public figure Mkhitar Gosh. It is located in the very heart of the Dilijan Reserve. Afterwards, we will head to Jermakavank and Aghavnavank monasteries, from where breathtaking views of the Tavush landscapes open up.
P.S. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing, bring a protective hat, sunglasses, food and water (2–3 liters) for one day, warm clothes, spare shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat, and a flashlight.

What will I see on this tour?
This is an autumn hike along the colorful trails of Tavush. It includes Goshavank Monastery and the tomb of Mkhitar Gosh, Gosh Lake in the heart of the Dilijan Reserve, reached by off-road vehicles, and the Chermakavank and Aghavnavank monasteries with views of the Tavush landscapes.
Why is it called Gosh Lake?
The lake is named after Mkhitar Gosh, the Armenian writer and public figure.
How much is this tour for one adult?
The price for one adult is 15,500 AMD, whatever the language of the guide.
What should I bring?
Wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing, and bring a protective hat, sunglasses, food and 2–3 liters of water for the day, warm clothes, spare shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat and a flashlight.
When are the departures?
Departures are scheduled for 2026-10-24 and 2026-10-31.
What time does the tour start and end?
The tour starts at 09:00 from 1a Sayat-Nova Ave in Yerevan and ends there at 19:00.
What is included in the price?
The price includes guide service, transport and the jeeping fee; meals are not included.
What language is the tour guided in?
The tour is guided in Armenian; if there are foreign participants, it may be conducted in two languages.
How many people are in the group?
The group has a maximum of 12 people.
Can children join, and are there any discounts?
Yes, there are no age restrictions: children aged 0-3 go free, children aged 3-6 get a 50% discount, and from age 7 the full price applies. Groups of 5 or more people get 500 AMD off per person.
What if I am late?
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. The group does not wait for latecomers, but you may catch up with the tour by your own means if possible.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation no later than 24 hours before departure. If you cancel later, the money is not refunded.
