This small and picturesque lake, surrounded by dense forests, is located in Dilijan National Park, 2.2 km southwest of Gosh village. Gosh Lake has a natural origin, formed as a result of landslides. The lake measures 100 meters in length, 80 meters in width, and has a maximum depth of 8 meters. It is named after Mkhitar Gosh, a medieval Armenian scholar and public figure, who was also the founder of Goshavank Monastery. The flora and fauna of the lake area are rich and continue to thrive over time.
