Samson Monastery is located 15 km southwest of Kirants village, hidden deep in the forests and far from settlements. The monastic complex consists of two churches, a half-ruined chapel, remains of residential and auxiliary buildings. The structures are attributed to the 12th-13th centuries based on their architectural style. A medieval cemetery and settlement remain around the monastery. The main or large church is almost intact, with traces of religious frescoes preserved on its walls.
