Lastiver

Lastiver lies on the outskirts of Yenokavan village in Tavush Province, in northeastern Armenia, and this ONE WAY Tour video is devoted to it. To reach it, you descend along a trail through dense forest into the gorge of the Khachaghbyur River, and at the end of the trail a view opens onto the Lastiver waterfall. Besides the scenery, a visit offers a chance to see historical and cultural treasures. The area features cave-monasteries, the Sarnajur River and large and small waterfalls. The cave sits on the slope of the gorge, and the wooden ladders people built to reach it resembled a raft, which is how Lastiver got its name.
