Pilgrimage to Tukh Manuk/Yeghipatrush/ST. Astvatsynkal .
– Tukh Manuk chapel was a pagan sanctuary and symbolized the worship of water. After the adoption of Christianity, it has become a Christian chapel. The name of Tukh Manuk Sanctuary has become so widespread that thousands of people visit the chapel every year to see the “murazatu” khachkar. The chapel is located in the northeast of the village. – During the tour we will also visit St. Astvatsynkal church and monastery of Yeghipatrush built in the 4-5th centuries.
ATTENTION, there is a 7 km hiking trail.
