1 08:45 Khor Virap Monastery
Khor Virap Monastery is one of Armenia’s most significant pilgrimage sites, offering spectacular views of Mount Ararat in clear weather. According to Armenian tradition, Saint Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here for 13 years before helping establish Christianity as the country’s state religion in the early fourth century. Visitors can explore the monastery grounds and descend into the underground chamber traditionally associated with his imprisonment.

Noravank Monastery stands in a scenic gorge surrounded by towering red cliffs. This medieval complex is celebrated for its intricate stone carvings and distinctive Armenian architecture. Its most striking building is the two-storey Church of Surb Astvatsatsin, featuring narrow exterior steps leading to the upper entrance. Explore the monastery grounds and admire the harmonious blend of historic architecture and dramatic natural scenery.

The cable car is about 1 km long and rises to an altitude of 2000 meters, offering beautiful views of the city's nature, mountain landscapes and forests. The cable car is especially popular among tourists, both in winter for skiing enthusiasts and in summer to enjoy the fresh mountain air and views.

Мы путешествовали по Армении 7 дней и 4 раза заказывали экскурсии. Первые три из них были через другого туроператора, не менее известного, чем Onewaytour. Но!!! Завершающая «вишенка на торте» была именно с Onewaytour и она затмила все предыдущие)). Это было великолепно во всех отношениях. Огромное спасибо в первую очередь экскурсоводу Анне Зазьян. Очень добрый человечек, замечательный организатор. Нам всегда не хватает того свободного времени, которое дается экскурсоводом. Но не с Анной. Она - умничка. Ее рассказы о достопримечательностях все остались в памяти. И это единственный экскурсовод, который дал возможность насладиться всеми чудесными локациями, которые мы посетили, предоставляя достаточно свободного времени. Еще раз огромное спасибо. Армения -замечательная страна, в ней живут очень гостеприимные люди. Мы ни разу не почувствовали никакого негатива. Спасибо Вам огромное. Обязательно вернемся еще раз и именно с Вами посетим все то, что не успели в этот раз.
Took the tour on September 16, 2026. It was very interesting and well-balanced: we had a chance to visit two monastery complexes, a waterfall in Jermuk, took the ropeway there, drank different mineral waters and tasted wine in Areni. Definitely recommended if you want to explore Armenia, its nature, history and culture. Big thanks to our wonderful guide Anna and the driver, they made our day!
Были на экскурсии 19 сентября, экскурсовод Асмик Карапетян великолепно вела экскурсию, очень эрудирована, грамотная, у нее прекрасная речь, внимательна к группе, отвечала на все вопросы. Очень понравились все локации экскурсии. В целом, остались только приятные впечатления.
