Martiros Saryan Park is located in the Kentron administrative district, near France Square and the Opera and Ballet Theater. At the very center of the park stands a 6-meter-tall marble statue of the great Armenian painter Martiros Saryan, installed in 1986. The monument was created by sculptor Levon Tokmajyan and architect Arthur Tarkhanyan. Saryan Park stands out from all other parks, as it always maintains an artistic atmosphere thanks to the works of contemporary Armenian painters.

Hechos

The park permanently hosts an exhibition-sale of works by contemporary Armenian artists.

The famous statue composition from the movie Men (Tghamardik) is located in Saryan Park. It was dedicated to the 75th birthday of Armenian film director Edmond Keosayan and the 35th anniversary of his film Men.

The park is also home to the Erebuni-Yerevan (Tree of Life) monument, dedicated to the 2750th anniversary of Yerevan's founding (1970). The monument was created by sculptor Hakob Piliposyan, architect Fenix Darbinyan, and artist A. Tsilkhiasyan."
