One of the miracles of nature, the Devil’s bridge, is located on the bottom of Tatev monastery, in the 500-meter gorge of the Vorotan river. This miracle of nature has been shaped for thousands of years due to the constant impact of water and wind. The width of the natural bridge is 60 meters and its length is 30 meters. Not far from the birdge you can sink in hot water springs. The most brave visitors can go down to the river and see the mysterious cellars below the springs.

Facts

fun-fact 1
Hot mineral waters with healing properties formed several “ponds” under the Devil's Bridge. It is known that even in ancient times wealthy Armenians came to this amazing cave to dip into the healing waters.
fun-fact 2
Mineral springs are located directly under the bridge. Flowing into the Vorotan River, they provide a stable level of water in the river. At first glance, it would seem that a low river flows here, but in fact, the Vorotan River “runs” under the bridge. Maybe this was the reason why the bridge was called “Devil's Bridge”.
