Lori tours from Yerevan

Lori brings together several different tour routes, so the places listed in each itinerary matter more than the province name alone. Haghpat and Sanahin form a paired monastery visit: manuscripts were preserved and copied at Haghpat, while Sanahin also had a library holding manuscripts and relics. Some monastery routes add Akhtala; others include Mendz Er Cave and Odzun. For a different focus, the Dsegh group itinerary links the Tumanyan House Museum, Bardzrakash Saint Gregory Church and Lake Tsover. Another group route is explicitly a hike through Dzoraget Canyon, with Tsater, Hnevank and the Vardablur lakes among its stops. Compare these routes by their named places and activities before choosing. A monastery circuit, a museum route and a canyon hike cover different parts of Lori, and the presence of one stop does not mean that all the others are included.
