Itinerary
1 Stop 1 Haghpat
Haghpat is located close to Sanahin and is a vast monastic complex with many churches and religious and secular buildings. The first church, Surb Nshan, was built in 976. The biggest library in Armenia was found in Haghpat, where there was a special way to store books. They were placed in the holes, and wine was placed with them in an open state so that moisture would not spoil the manuscripts. Haghpat has been an important center of Armenian history, culture, and education for centuries.
2 Stop 2 Sanahin
Founded in the 10th century, the Sanahin monastery complex coincides with the period of the Bagratuni dynasty. The first church, Surb Astvatsatsin, was built in 51. The monastery has five churches, a library, a bell tower, an academy, and a royal tomb. By the way, the oldest academy in Armenia is located here. Along with Haghpat, Sanahin was among the first to be included under UNESCO's global protection.

The price includes transport. Meals and entrance fees are not included: you can bring your own food or pay for it on site, and entrance fees are usually paid in cash on site.

Can children join, and do they pay less?
Yes, there are no age restrictions. Children aged 0-3 travel free, children aged 3-6 get a 50% discount, and from age 7 the full price applies.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation no later than 24 hours before departure. If you cancel later, the money is not refunded.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In case of severe weather, the tour may be postponed or refunded.
How do I book this tour?
To book, we need your phone number and the full names of all participants. Bookings are accepted until the day before the tour, but we recommend booking early.
How and when do I pay?
Prices are in AMD (Armenian dram), and payment is made in advance to confirm the booking. You can pay by card or in cash at the office, or by bank transfer.
