Victory bridge is located in Kentron disctrict of Yerevan. The bridge connects Isakov and Mashtots avenues. The length is 200 meters, the width is 25, the height is 34. There are two smal squares on the tips of the bridge. Yerevan Brandy Company is on the right bank of the bridge, and Yerevan wine factory is on the left bank.
The well-established transport infrastructure of Armenia allows to get to Victory bridge by a private car or with the help of various travel companies which offer regular excursions and tours to different sights of the country. Due to the geographical location of Victory bridge the trip will not seem long.
The high season in Armenia lasts for a long time due to the pleasant climate conditions. Warm days in Armenia start in March and last until late autumn; winter is usually snowless and not long. The high precipitation season is variable. The tourist season for Victory bridge depends on the weather conditions.
The architect of the building is Simon Hovnanyan, architects Artashes Mamidzhanyan, A. Asatryan.
There was also another bridge called the “Red Bridge” before the construction of the Victory Bridge near the Yerevan Wine factory on the banks of the Hrazdan River. That was a medieval bridge built of red stone. The bridge was the only one that connected Yerevan with the Ararat valley and Sardarapat. However, during the times of the Soviet government, the city grew, and the problem of building a new bridge arose.
