The production of Yerevan Ararat brandy factory can be classified as legends because they summarize the economic experience of Armenia, historical-cultural heritage and skills of Armenian masters. Today the ARARAT brandy factory stands proudly in the place of the castle Old Erivan and thanks to its international fame it takes the attention of governors, prominent people, professionals and thousands of tourists.
"Cognac was exported to 21 countries, including Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Cuba, Peru, New Zealand, Japan, Iran, Argentina and Finland. In 2015, the Ararat brandy factory purchased 8277 tons of grapes, and the sales volume in the same year amounted to 643 million drams. Currently, Armenian cognac is exported to 31 countries. The largest consumers are Russia and Ukraine, followed by Kazakhstan and Germany.
