The House-Museum of Vazgen Sargsyan, a devoted Armenian national, military leader, and public-political figure, is located in the village of Ararat, in the Ararat Province. The house-museum was opened on March 5, 2001, and is dedicated to Vazgen Sargsyan's life and activities. The museum presents the history of Vazgen Sargsyan's life and biography — as a writer, soldier, commander (sparapet), and statesman. In the courtyard of the house-museum stands the bust of Vazgen Sargsyan, created by sculptor Kamsar Ghazaryan.
