About this tour
Join us on a hiking adventure to one of Armenia’s most beautiful and mysterious mountains — Mount Ara. According to legend, the mountain is named after King Ara the Beautiful. It is said that Mount Ara represents the body of King Ara lying down, who fell in battle against Queen Semiramis of Assyria. During the hike, our vehicle will take us to Tsaghkevank, where we will begin our trekking adventure.
P.S. The total hiking distance is about 11 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing, bring a protective hat, sunglasses, food and water for one day (2–3 liters), warm clothing, an extra pair of shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat, and a flashlight.

No, seats are not pre-assigned. We recommend arriving a bit early.
