About this tour
Hiking trip to Gegharot Waterfall is a beautiful mountain route in Aragatsotn Province, on the slopes of Mount Aragats.
The waterfall is located at about 3,000 meters above sea level, around 12 km from Aragats village, and falls from a height of approximately 17 meters. The route passes through alpine landscapes, rocky paths, green slopes, and open mountain views, making it a great choice for those who want to enjoy Armenia’s wild nature and fresh mountain air.
In summer, the waterfall is especially impressive, while in winter it can freeze and become difficult to access.

Hiking difficulty: moderate.
Distance: approximately 20 km.
The route includes mountain terrain, rocky sections, and high altitude.
Comfortable hiking shoes, warm clothing, water, and sun protection are required.
