Areni Wine Festival

The tour visits the Areni-1 Cave (Birds' Cave), one of Armenia's most remarkable archaeological sites, then the Holy Mother of God Church in Areni, and continues to the Areni Wine Festival.

The group arrives at the festival at approximately 11:00 and has time to enjoy the festival atmosphere and discover local wines, traditional products, music and cultural activities. Festival hours are 11:00 to 20:00.

The price for one adult is 6,000 AMD, whatever the language of the guide.

The tour departs on 2026-10-03: it starts at 08:00 and ends at 20:00.

The tour starts and ends at 1a Sayat-Nova Ave, Yerevan. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time: if you are late, the group does not wait, but you may catch up with the tour by your own means if possible.

The price includes guide service and transport. Meals are not included, so you may bring your own food or pay on site. Entrance fees are not included either and are usually paid in cash on site.

The tour is guided in Armenian; if there are foreign participants, it may be conducted in two languages.

The group has a maximum of 12 participants.

The tour runs on a comfortable minivan or bus, depending on group size, and the transport is fully heated in winter. Seats are not pre-assigned, so it is worth arriving a bit early to pick your spot.

Yes, there are no age restrictions. Children aged 0-3 travel free, children aged 3-6 get a 50% discount, and from 7 years the full price applies.

Yes, groups of 5 or more people get 500 AMD off per person.

To book, give your phone number and the full names of all participants; bookings are accepted until the day before. Payment is made in advance to confirm the booking, by card or in cash at the office, or by bank transfer.
