Nature has created many wonders in Jermuk.

One of these is the natural mineral water springs (geysers), whose healing properties have been mentioned for centuries.

P.S. The total length of the medium-difficulty hike is about 5 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes, comfortable clothing, a protective hat, and have enough food and water for one day.

1. Jermuk Geyser

The Jermuk Geyser is located 5 km from the city, in the reserve area. The geyser itself is a natural jacuzzi with hot mineral water, which gushes out every 2 minutes.

2. Gndevank

Gndevank is one of the most important monuments of Armenian architecture. It is located in the picturesque gorge of the Arpa River, 1 km west of the village of Gndevaz. According to tradition, the monastery was built in 40 days by Princess Sophia of Syunik, selling her last wealth - her sables, which is why the monastery is called Gndevank.
