About this tour
Let’s go horseback riding in the heights of Tavush, beneath breathtaking landscapes.
We will ascend to the foot of Mount Dimats by off-road vehicles. We will start our horseback riding.
At the foot of Mount Dimats, we will light a bonfire and enjoy traditional hot and delicious potatoes.
P.S. It is not necessary to know how to ride a horse to participate in the tour. Throughout the tour, we will have professional guides who will teach us how to ride properly.

How long does this tour last?
This is a 1-day tour with no overnight stay. It starts at 08:00 and ends at 20:00.
Does this tour run every day or only on certain dates?
The tour runs on demand with a custom date. Please confirm the date with the operator.
How early should we arrive before the tour starts?
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start. Since the tour begins at 08:00, it’s best to be there around 07:45.
How do we get to the foot of Mount Dimats?
The tour runs on a comfortable minivan or bus depending on group size. Off-road vehicles are used to ascend to the foot of Mount Dimats.
Are seats in the transport assigned in advance?
No, seats are not pre-assigned. We recommend arriving a bit early to choose a spot you prefer.
Is there Wi-Fi in the transport?
There is usually no Wi-Fi. However, mobile internet works on most of the route.
What languages is the tour conducted in?
Tours are conducted in Armenian, Russian and English. If there are non-local guests in the group, the guide can speak two languages.
Can I join if I’ve never ridden a horse before?
Yes, you do not need riding experience to join. Professional guides will teach you how to ride properly during the tour.
How much is the tour for one adult?
The price for one local/Armenian adult is 19500 AMD (Armenian dram). The foreign adult price should be checked with the operator.
Are there child discounts for this tour?
Since this is a day tour, the child policy is: 0-3 years free, 3-6 years 50% discount, 7+ full price.
If there are 5 of us, is there a group discount?
Yes, groups of 5+ get 500 AMD off per person on day tours.
How many participants share one horse?
On this tour, every 2 participants are assigned 1 horse. This is part of the tour format.
