"The Yeghegnadzor Art Gallery, a branch of the National Gallery of Armenia, was founded in 1978. It regularly hosts exhibitions featuring works by renowned Armenian artists. The gallery consists of three exhibition halls: two permanent and one temporary, where notable pieces of Armenian fine art from the 20th century are displayed. The unique features of national fine arts are manifested in the traditional genres of landscape painting, thematic painting, portrait, still life, which include a comprehensive picture of the historical past and present, and everyday life of the people."

The gallery houses 21 museum exhibits (paintings).

The gallery features works by Anatoli Papyan, Vladimir Sahakyan, Hakob Ananikyan, Babken Kolozyan, Hovhannes Sharambeyan, Manuk Ghdrian, Eduard Isabekyan, Paravon Mirzoyan, Henrik Siravyan, Zakhar Khachatryan, and others.

The Yeghegnadzor Art Gallery plays a significant role in the cultural life of Vayots Dzor, serving as a meeting place for art lovers and professionals.

The reopening of the branch after the renovation coincided with the celebrations dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the birth of Momik Vardapet (1260-1333/1339), a writer, miniaturist, sculptor, and architect of the late 13th and early 14th centuries, and the gallery also exhibited the works of Momik and his contemporaries."
