"Mozrov Cave is one of Armenia’s most beautiful and mysterious natural caves, located in Vayots Dzor Province, about 7-8 km southwest of Yeghegnadzor, along the Arpi-Mozrov road. The cave was discovered in 1980 during road construction, when a limestone explosion revealed a deep underground passage. A team of experts explored and mapped the cave, uncovering new chambers and tunnels. According to researchers, Mozrov Cave is a natural monument of global significance, featuring a variety of cave formations."

Facts

The first exploration team named different halls of the cave, including “Waterfalls,” “Abyss,” “Fir Tree,” “Dolls,” “Cactus,” “White Corals,” and “Red Flowstones” halls.

Mozrov Cave is rich in stunning and diverse natural formations, making it the third longest cave in Armenia (approximately 260 meters long).

Currently, entry into Mozrov Cave is dangerous due to a partial collapse of the main entrance in the 2010s, making exploration and safe access difficult."
