Yeghegnadzor Art Gallery was founded in 1978. Throughout years different exhibitions of works of Armenian and foreign artists have been organized in the gallery. Works of Anatoliy Papyan, Vladimir Sahakyan, Hakob Ananikyan, Babken Kolozyan, Lavinia Bazbeyuk-Melikyan, Hovhannes Sharambeyan, Manuk Ghrdyan, Eduard Isabekyan, Paravon Mirzoyan, Henrik Siravyan, Zakar Khachatryan, A. Khanzatyan and others are presented in the galery.
The well-established transport infrastructure of Armenia allows to get to Yeghegnadzor Art Gallery by a private car or with the help of various travel companies which offer regular excursions and tours to different sights of the country. Due to the geographical location of Yeghegnadzor Art Gallery the trip will not seem long.
The high season in Armenia lasts for a long time due to the pleasant climate conditions. Warm days in Armenia start in March and last until late autumn; winter is usually snowless and not long. The high precipitation season is variable. The tourist season for Yeghegnadzor Art Gallery depends on the weather conditions.
After the reconstruction, the opening of the branch coincided with the celebration of the 750th anniversary of the birth of the manuscript writer, miniature painter, sculptor and architect Momik (1260-1333/1339). Momik's works were also exhibited in Yeghegnadzor Picture Gallery.
