Samson Monastery is located near the Samson River and is surrounded by a forest. It is hidden in the forest and is far from the residental areas. The complex consists of two churches, a ruined chapel, residential and auxiliary buildings. The only entry is from the western side. The octagonal drum, which is round from the inside, is very remarkable and is decorated with pillars. The walls of the church were covered with frescoes, from which separate pieces are preserved.

Facts

The chapel was built on the northern side of the monastery. Once it had a ceiling decorated with frescos. There is a number of undated inscriptions on the western wall.
