Group Tour to Dagestan

Visit one of the deepest canyons. From the observation deck in the village of Dubki, enjoy views of the canyon and the Chirkey Reservoir.

The first stop will be at the Lun-class ekranoplan, a brilliant creation of Soviet engineering. It has been well preserved to this day.

Next, the tour continues in Derbent, the southernmost and oldest city in Russia.

A visit to the Naryn-Kala Fortress will introduce you to the ancient history of the fortress, which protected the city from nomadic invasions for hundreds of years.

Next, we will head to the ethno-house for lunch, where traditional Southern Dagestani dishes await, including dolma, shah-plov, chudu, and tea.

Afterwards, we will stroll through the streets of the Old City and visit the Juma Mosque, built in 733. The program includes a souvenir shop where you can purchase gifts for yourself and your loved ones as a memento of Dagestan.

You can relax at the beach or join one of the optional excursions of your choice (Gamsutl, Gunib, Khunzakh, Kubachi, etc.).

Famous for its rich flora and fauna, it is the only subtropical liana forest in Russia. A national park has been established on the basis of the Samur Forest, open to visitors who want to enjoy the natural beauty of the South Caucasus.

Famous for its unique hot springs, considered healing for a variety of serious ailments. Visitors coming here for treatment are charmed by the mountain scenery, abundant fruit gardens, historic architecture, and the hospitality of the local people.

We will explore Southern Dagestan, where you will get acquainted with the daily life and traditions of the Tabasaran people. Next, we will travel to Khuchni, the center of the Tabasaran district, and visit its notable sights.

Here stands the “Fortress of Seven Brothers and One Sister,” rising above the village as a symbol of the people’s heroic past.
We will also visit the small but picturesque Khanag waterfall, whose base is a favorite relaxation spot for locals.

After lunch, we will learn the secrets of carpet weaving and preparing chudu.
