Hiking to Tesilk Mountain

The nature of Tavush never ceases to amaze with its breathtaking landscapes. One of those hidden gems is Mount Tesilk (1372 m), located in the village of Gandzakar. Our journey begins in Gandzakar, from where we’ll follow forest trails leading us all the way to the summit of Tesilk. The mountain is remarkable not only for the panoramic views from its peak but also for its mysterious caves.

P.S.: The total hiking distance is about 9 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing, bring a protective hat, sunglasses, food and water for one day (2–3 liters), warm clothing, an extra pair of shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat, and a flashlight.
