Our first stop will be Talin Cathedral, one of the unique monuments of early medieval Armenian architecture. Here, you can also see the name of Movses Ekeghetsapan, who commissioned the frescoes.
Continuing our journey, we will visit Aruch Church, another important example of ancient Armenian architecture. According to an inscription, it was built in the 660s by Grigor I Mamikonian.
Finally, we will approach the historic Dashtadem Fortress (also known as Kagheni Fortress), located in the village of Dashtadem at the southern foothills of Mount Arteni in Aragatsotn Province. It is believed that the fortress was built on the foundations of a Urartian fortress, while its current appearance was shaped during the Kamsarakan noble period.
