Our first stop will be in the village of Berdkunq, where we will see the Berdkunq fortress, which has been preserved since ancient times, and then we will visit Hayravank, which is considered one of the unique examples of Armenian architecture. We will conclude the day in the Norashen reserve. The reserve is also known as the "Island of the Seagulls".
The total length of the hike is about 4 km. Participants are advised to wear hiking boots, comfortable clothing, wear a protective hat, and have enough food and water for one day.

1. Berdkunk Castle
Berdkunq Fortress is located in the Gegharkunik Province, near Lake Sevan. Dating back to the 2nd–1st millennia BC, it was built with large basalt stones and played a key role in the region’s defense system.
2. Hayravank
Hayravank Monastery lies on the shore of Lake Sevan in the Gegharkunik Province. Built between the 9th and 12th centuries, it stands out for its scenic architecture and location. It is a must-see for history and nature lovers alike.
3. Norashen Reserve
Norashen Reserve is a protected natural area in the Gegharkunik Province. Known for its rich biodiversity, it is home to rare species of plants and animals. The sanctuary is important for both scientific research and ecotourism.
